Don't call me crazy but I had my 전기장판 on last night
(I know it's July but it was cold, people!) and I got this warning message when I found my phone under my pillow 아악;

Introducing Coco

My family always had 멍멍이s as I was growing up, my parents adore dogs, I think we once had 7 dogs and a "dog apartment" in our backyard when I was a kid.

When I recently changed my phone's background from a picture of my camera to Coco, it surprised some people since they didn't know I even had a dog; one person (Miae unni 에헤헴) even said "엘리는 개를 별로 안좋아하나봐" => I strongly DENY this fact, though many would disagree with me ha!

To prove my love for Coco, dedicating one WHOLE post on him LOL

So, it's been about 3 weeks since Yuri joined the KOCCA team (hooray~) and it's been nothing but comfort and joy to have a best bud around me even at work! Don't remember exactly who but one of us suggested we should start working out together after work. (Besides, yuri needed to put her new sneakers to start doing its magic)

So far we had 5 1hour walks,

Results:
weight change: zip, zero!
Appetite: soaring!

Maybe my life is not exciting and interesting enough..?!

Despite my several attempts to update my blog, I just can't find anything interesting to talk about..except for all the nonsense I have deal with everyday(literally) at 'this' place. But if I go too much into detail about what has been happening, it will turn you either into a devil-minded person or it might just make you too bored out of your sanity.

I will be traveling next month so hey, who knows? I will come up with something interesting to share with you all! chao!

First day back at work after three day weekend, this was supposed to be the traffic-free morning. But what do you know, 101 S is totally jammed. It turns out someone died in the early morning accident which caused 3 lanes to be closed until 9 AM.

I mumbled and said "did you have to die on 101? Why can't it be on some other freeway?"
Jk jokingly said, "Man, i guess he really didn't want to go back to work after the three day weekend."

This is how a terrible morning traffic can cause inhumane-ellie to surface without even realizing. A moment of repentance please!

다이어트

Determined to study everyday of the week this week, i got off work right on time with my vocab list printed.

2. Abuse of office : 직권남용. etc etc

So, I am almost thirty, already took SAT & GMAT sometime in my life
So can someone please remind me or explain to me why I am still memorizing vocabs???? Not only in english but now also in korean?
Agrrrrrrr just wanna sleep. What have I got myself into T.T

So I asked earlier, "what have i got myself into...??"

My New Shirt,

It's funny(almost frustrating) how it's so hard to find a plain black or gray shirt I really like. Even though they are everywhere, I have the hardest time tracking down a perfect pair of jeans and a simple/plain shirt that I APPROVE.

Last Sunday, Yuri & I took our first shopping trip to Beverly Center Bloomingdales together (It was so odd how after all the years I've known her and all the time we've spent together, it was our first time shopping together here.. neway), I spot a perfect shirt! A Perfect Gray Shirt I've been searching for.

It was abit pricey to be honest, but I thought to myself, 'hey, how often do I come across a shirt like this?' convincing myself to buy it and wear it on the spot.

As I was getting ready to come into work today, I looked everywhere for this shirt and I just could not find it. Here is a little conversation I had with my mom.

Ellie : MOM!!!!!!!! did you see the gray shirt that was hanging on my chair?"
Mom : 응, 빨았지, 갔다줄께"

My mom hands me the shirt and what do you know!!??
My shirt is now perfect for a ten year old.

Ellie : 엄마 이거 드라이어에 돌렸어????????????????
Mom : 당연하지 그럼 티셔츠를 물빨래 하랴?
Ellie : 이거 $$$$ 주고 산거야!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 한번도 안입었어
Mom : 어머, 이런 후질구리한 티셔츠를 그런돈 주고 사니, 정신없는애야 정말
Ellie : 돈내놔!
Mom : 엄마가 다시 늘려놀께
